Son of Norwegian Crown Princess Mette-Marit continued for four rapes

The son of the Norwegian Crown Princess Mette-Marit is being prosecuted for 32 charges, including four rapes. The Norwegian Public Prosecution Service has announced this. Marius Borg Høiby risks a prison sentence of up to ten years.

In addition to four rapes, 28-year-old Høiby is also charged with, among other things, abuse, the threat of an agent and several traffic violations.

Høiby is the oldest child of Mette-Marit from an earlier relationship. He is the stepson of the successor Haakon and has no royal title. When Høiby was 4 years old, his mother married Haakon.

Evidence

According to Norwegian, there is a lot of evidence. For example, Høiby would have raped four different women in their sleep and filmed that. The rapes would have been committed between 2018 and 2024.

He would also have filmed the genitals of women without permission. “Rape and violence in relationships are very serious crimes that can leave permanent traces and destroy lives,” says the public prosecutor. Høiby contradicts that he has raped women.
