Forty misss after boot accident in Nigeria, ten people saved

In Nigeria, more than forty people on board of a capsized boat are being sought. With at least fifty people on board, the boat was en route to a popular market in the northwest of the country, in the city of Goronyo.

Ten people have been taken alive from the water of the Sokotorivier, say the Nigerian authorities . Emergency services have started a search for the missing people. More details are not yet known.

Three weeks ago a boat also turned around in Nigeria. Then at least thirteen people died.
