Raids on rapper Diddy’s properties in investigation of sexual exploitation
The American police have raided properties of rapper and music boss Diddy in Los Angeles and Miami. According to various American media, these raids are related to an investigation into sexual exploitation in which Sean Combs, as his real name is, is said to be involved.
Images show heavily armed officers entering the homes of 54-year-old Combs. Boats and helicopters are also used by the police. Combs’ children were interviewed. Diddy himself was not present. It is unknown whether people have also been arrested.
Multiple lawsuits
Several lawsuits have recently been filed against Combs for alleged sexual abuse, rape and assault. One of the accusers says that the rapper raped her twenty years ago together with two other men. She was seventeen years old at the time.
Last year, he settled a lawsuit from his former R&B singer Cassie, who accused him of physically and sexually abusing her for years. Combs denies all allegations against him.
Combs is one of the most influential hip-hop producers of the past thirty years. He became known in the 1990s under the name Puff Daddy and won several Grammys.
